Who’s Land Are You On?
Many people might be familiar with this tool already. I saw it floating around on Indigenous People’s Day and it’s also a resource in the Racial Equity course we are required to take.
This shows which Native Tribe’s land we are on. According to the website, I thought you could access the map online, but I’m only finding information about an app, so this is really a MALL resource. However, what I love is that there is a Teacher’s Guide on the website!

Wow – great source! Thanks Miranda!

500 Nations is an eight-part documentary on the Native Americans of North and Central America. It documents from pre-Columbian to the end of the 19th century. Much of the information comes from text, eyewitnesses, pictorials, and computer graphics. The series was hosted by Kevin Costner, narrated by Gregory Harrison, and directed by Jack Leustig.

It was a pleasure reading this.
Great effort, well appreciated.
This helped me a lot, thank you.
