Global Gender Gap report
According to this CNN article, “The World Economic Forum’s annual Global Gender Gap Report for 2020 ranked Iceland as the most gender-equal country for the 11th consecutive year, followed by its Nordic neighbors, Norway, Finland, and Sweden. Syria, Pakistan, Iraq, and Yemen ranked lowest.”
I think the specific details for each country can serve both English and [other] foreign language learners.

the world leader in gender equality for the eleventh year in a row, surpassing even Norway, Finland, and Sweden. At the bottom of the list were Syria, Pakistan, Iraq, and Yemen.

Great article but I was wondering if you could write a little more on this topic? I’d be grateful if you could explain a little more. I really appreciate it!
amazing
The Global Gender Gap report analysis is thorough. The point about how economic participation varies across regions is an important context that often gets left out of the headline numbers. Thanks for the detailed breakdown.
I appreciated the point about Iceland ranking first for the 11th year in a row, and the contrast with Syria, Pakistan, Iraq, and Yemen at the bottom.
