Policies Barring Women from Voting
This article discusses specific policies which could bar women from voting. Some might believe current policies to suppress voting is still an issue today. Political topics also might arise within conversation in language courses or lessons, however many times the subject is not addressed in a beneficial or effective manner in order to promote positive change. This post is really hard to take in. It is just unfathomable to me to hear that some women would be happy to have a head of household voting policy reinstated.
I also find it very disturbing that the idea of giving up your opinions or vote is tied to religious morality.
