[DMR] Subscribe to Anti-racism Daily – free daily email newsletter
I have been subscribed to the Anti-Racism Daily email newsletter for a while now, and I really appreciate the explanations of important, diverse issues such as immigration, indigenous rights, intersections of race, class, and sexuality/gender identity, and how to take action on them. Each newsletter is a 2-5 minute read and contains links and resources for further reading/action. Example issues from this past week:
- Respect AAVE (African American Vernacular English)
- Serve restaurant equity
- Support Haitian immigrants
- Ensure water infrastructure for all
- Unpack the flag
- Advocate for a pathway to citizenship for all
Here’s the link for you to sign up. Here is their website if you want to check them out.
Thanks for sharing this resource Zoya!! I also subscribe to their emails!!
They also had a great email called 28 days of Black History during the month of February. Hope they do this again this year!
Also, for those of you that can’t handle daily emails, you can get a weekly email with a debrief of the articles they’ve highlighted and there’s also a weekend email it’s called Study Hall, where a Q and A happen.
Anti Racism Daily commitment to addressing multifaceted issues in a digestible format is commendable. The weekly topics not only educate but empower individuals to actively participate in the ongoing fight against injustice.
