Terrapass is a company dedicated to fight climate change. Through their website you can buy carbon offsets to counterbalance whatever carbon emissions you may be creating, or that others have created.

I like that this company focuses on the educational aspect of their outreach. When I first read “buying carbon offsets” my mind went immediately to “rich people feeling bad and buying themselves some peace of mind”. I wonder if this company could also offer individual carbon footprint plans for employees of the companies they work with – it seems they help companies at a larger scale levels (the carbon footprint calculator, “educational tools and resources”). The website does offer it’s program for individuals – but it seems to me only a highly motivated individual with extra money to spend on something like this would partake in this program. I wonder if TerraPass could (or does) work with each individual employee to focus on their individual carbon footprints.
    Thanks for the share Ann!

Terrapass is doing great work! Thinking about offsetting your carbon footprint is like mastering Snow Rider 3D – it’s all about calculated moves. Just as you navigate icy slopes in the game, Terrapass helps you navigate the impact of your emissions. Explore their site; reducing your impact is a worthwhile game to play, just as fun as Snow Rider 3D is, and certainly much more important in real life.
