I feel like I have had my head in the sand regarding environmental justice in general, and particularly have never thought about how these issues impact my neighbors in my home community. I am now compelled to get to know neighboring communities more, and the struggles they face. We are all going to be impacted by climate change, but some of us more and sooner than others. What does that mean for those of us who are able to escape the early ramifications of climate disasters?
