I didn’t know how ineffective the Paris Agreement was until I read this article. This article shows how urgent the situation for real, impactful policies is. It’s chilling that we are being deprived of such policies in the US not because of our laws or constitution but because of a “tradition” called the filibuster.

Thanks for sharing this Zoya. I have been expecting this event to happen for a while now and it’s become even more meaningful to me now that my husband works for the National Library of Scotland as a curator and meets with different communities involved in various social justice-related work (I will invite someone to our class through his connections!).
